I have a profile on MySpace, but only to keep in touch with a few people, I keep mine set on private, so no one can access it expect those few people. I think if I had teenagers at home, I wouldn't want them on there though. I try not to look around too much on MySpace, because some people are just nasty and vile.

I agree. Look, I had my MySpace page for a little over 2 years and I got on it everyday for probably 3-4 hours each of those days. I was addicted. Hooked. Vexed. Stupid. I think now that I deleted it (I've been MySpace free for about 3 months now thank you thank you) and gone to MySpace Addicts Anonymous I have a lot more time and spending it wisley. Im a high school student and MySpace definitly hurt my grades a lot. I got no studying done; all I worried about is if I recieved a new friend request or comment. I was retard. I am proud to say that I am ANTI-MYSPACE and do not recommend it. Phones, AIM, or even this Yahoo thing is good enough to contct and socialize with my friends. MySpace is not necessary. MySpace is just stupid. And Tom is smart as hell for thinking it up. He has the youth of America in the grip of his hands and it is still growing. Props Tom. I guess...

I absolutely hate it. I think it's very dangerous and just another way to make it easier for pedophiles and predators to find their next victim. I also think that the more friends you have on Myspace, the smaller your brain is. It's a good place for music though, I'll give 'em that...

I can take it or leave it. I have some friends on there that have cool blogs. But mostly, bands just solicit me all the time to get on their list and go see their shows. And then there are those wackos that use it as a dating site. I basically just use it to read my friends' blogs and see what my favorite bands are up to.

i dont like it. I dont see why people must expose themselves liket that to complete strangers! I would rather walk naked with HUGE arrow pointing at me to get attention than to leave every perb. or physco outthere to know what i like, what are my hobbies, and to see how I look. At least naked and with an arrow I will have more chances to protect my identity...

It's just a way for kids to express themselves...don't be a hater...you are so above that! There are REAL more important things not to like such as the WAR in IRAQ...so don't waste your time!

I think it's dumb, I tried it for a bit as a friend had recommended it to me, but not a real thrill.
I'm sure some folk enjoy it.

It's too worldly for me. I prefer Yahoo's 360. It's more compatible with my lifestyle and interests.
