Sometimes I have the tendency to refer to women as "chicks"... The other day I said this in front of a woman, and she was really offended... Why would this be so degrading?

I mean, its not like its our generaion that did it! Why should we have to apologise on the behalf of those bigots 200 years ago? The catholics arent apologising for the inquisition, the puritans arent apologising for the with trials!
Besides, we also stopped the trade! America kept the slave in slavery for another 50 years until their civil war!
Am I alone here?

-single mom with 7 year old and baby due in June
-living in a building with 2 suites, single mom lives on bottom
-place is so bad that neighbors hear each others alarm clocks
-single mom tries to warm up her place and the neighbors have to open their windows
-single mom's enterance door echos in the neighbors place
-ALOT of tensiona and anxeity, finally resulting in neighbors moving, landlord selling, and mom to be worried about new neighbors and baby crying at night
-should single mom use the last of her savings to move to an aparment where the building is acutally built for more then one suite?
-or should single mom stay and HOPE the new neighbors don't complain and create more tension
-she is conflicted because: money. The place is cosmetically big and nice. Good location. BUT if she moves, she can find peace and relax with baby and child and not 'hush them' all the time or worry about 'normal' noise level

I'm convinced that most humans are flawed...

How many times have you been let down by people who promise you something?

Or for instance, this is a big one...

I'll often spring for lunch, or a few drinks for someone, and tell them that it is their turn next in the future to "spring" for me, however it rarely happens that you meet someone who actually keeps their word????

Just one example...

Seriously, are any of you getting sick of being a GIVER, instead of a TAKER???

It seems like the TAKERS, and LEACHES in this world, get more RESPECT, and LOVE, etc,etc...

Are you a GIVER or a TAKER...

I'm starting to see, and believe that most humans are TAKERS, and not of their word...

Rarely pay back debts, or return favours...

What is your experience with the type of things I am talking about...

I'm getting sick of promises aren't you????

I've watched a few of her videos, and I don't really get why it's entertaining. So, YouTube subscribers to lonelygirl15, fill me in.

The other night i went to the drive in movies for the first time, people probably find it strange that i've never gone before - but it was exciting.

Whats something you've done recently for the first time - even if most people have done it before (even if most people haven't done it). eg - going in a plane, trying something new.

Has anyone considered the possibility that national media and governments simply create alot of the stress's that lead to war and prejuduce in the world today?

For example, Iran

ten years ago did anyone in america have a problem with them?

If not for all negative attention would anybody hate them now?

Just from looking through some of the answers that i see people giving, saying things like turn iran into a sheet of glass or wipe out the islam or the muslims...

I can't help but feel like all of it is unwarranted hatred.

If you watch the news you'll hear about how horrible things are in Iran, but if you talk to any educated Iranian they'll give you a completely different story of what life is really like there, what the common people really think.

So, how much of the tensions between nations can be justified as something worthwhile, and how much is just aimed at some small group of people that the media blows up to represent entire countries?

Yetserday i was unfortunate to be caught up in the aftermath of the accident on the M25. The attitude of almost all of the other motorists in the same situation was diabolical.
Selfish, self centred, inconsiderate, rude, there were very few exceptions.
The flow of traffic was hampered by these actions, what is your problem in the south.
I would have placed this in the motoring section but it has nothing to do with cars, it is the drivers at fault.

I have read Lynn Grabhorn's book and it is better than the secret to me at least. She had a great sense of humor, and she explains the Laws of attraction much better in her book.

Do you think all living beings are equal? Parents don't(At least not mine) They have the "power" to be in charge and kids don't get a say in it. ex: I'm not having this conversation anymore, ...Because I said so and Im your mom/dad, give me some respect!(well if you'd respect me once in a while maybe I would >:-(( )
