Because you won't be a kid for much longer. You'll waste time trying to be an adult and before you know it, you'll be 20-something with nothing to look forward to but your next paycheck that you'll spend entirely on bills. Woo-hoo!

You have your childhood only once. You get to be an adult your entire life, but you only get to be a kid for so many years, and then you can't go back. Take advantages of these years while you still have them.
Personally, I'm graduating from high school in 61 days, and I've become very nostagic over the last few weeks. I know that soon I'll no longer be a kid...What that quote means is basically just enjoy every moment you can, don't rush yourself into adulthood and wish your life away, constantly thinking only of the things you'll be able to do a few years down the road. Otherwise, a few years down the road, you'll just be sitting there wondering where the "good years" went. I'm doing my best to avoid that.

she is trying to say that have fun while your still a kid because when your an adult your whole life changes. because you have to take care of bills go to work everyday etc. but while your still young your a kid and being a kid is about having run before you take on bigger responsibilities in your life. have fun while it last and they can build up memories that you can remember when your older and it makes you think about all the great times you had and you cant do most of the stuff you could do while you were a kid and being a kid only last once.

Be a kid before it is too late means leave the adult stuff until you become an adult. Taking on mature things or doing things that may force you to become an adult before you are ready is really stressful. Not to mention life changing. So just do age appropriate things now. When you become an adult be a responsible one.

When you are older you will understand this question. Before it is too late enjoy life as a kid is to enjoy life before you take on alot of responsibilities,such as marriage,children and other very responsible things you cannot walk away from.Have fun with your friends and enjoy laughing and just doing nothing.. Smell the flowers and watch the stars. Oh my, it is wonderful being a kid.Too soon you will understand this saying.

Well it means don't always look forwards to the things you can do when your're older. Do what you can do know and be happy your're young. When you get out of high school things change dramaticaly, friends aren't as important adn nobody in your click of friends has time for each other. teachers don't care if you do ur homework. etc. etc.

That means don't be too much in a rush to grow up, it's pretty hard being an adult, you have bills, responsibility, work, ect...
