I live in a small town and tight community, i don't see anyone sleeping on the streets or holding cardboard signs in my town. so it's not blantant, but i'm sure it exists. and i've seen examples in the larger towns near my hometown, but this am i was thinking about how i DON'T think about b/c i DON'T see it.
in your town do you see much of the wretchedness of poverty or homelessness? does it affect you on a day-to-day basis? what if anything do you do about it?

I live in the UK, loads of forms here ask us if we are white and British, or other coloured and British.
There is never a choice for a pinky coloured person, but these are common, I have NEVER seen a White person, have you?

YOu are taught when you are young there are no stupid ?? But there are some really bitter and rude people answering them. Just because you know the answer obviouslly doesnt mean someone else does. Be respectful and if cant just answer then move on to something else. I feel for some of these people who get some of these hateful responses!!

I think it's really screwed up when people say I sound 'white', just because I talk proper..Then I get called an 'oreo'...Talking correct means that im talking 'white'?

Yesterday at my job, (Manager of a maternity shop) a customer fainted. Boy, I was no help, when she fell, Like a dumb blonde I am,I promptly fainted beside her.My 16 year old employee revived us both. I feel so stupid for this. Was my reaction normal? If so why do I feel so stupid? Any answers positive or negitive welcome.
