I am looking to move to lynwood il with my husband and 2 kids. I was wondering if soemone can give me some insight on how the neighborhood is.

Like all towns it depends what neighborhood you move to . But all in all it is not a bad place to live. I come from a small town just across the state line in Indiana. The schools are good and there is a lot of shopping. You will be close enough to Chicago to enjoy the culture of the big city but far enough away to feel safe.

If so, the neighborhoods away from the Highway are decent. It is close to the freeway no matter where you live in the City, there is PLENTY of shopping, services, etc.
The City Government is pretty cool in that they run street sweepers all the time, they offer free junk removal (as much as you can put out on the street) once a year for free, etc.
Overall, a good experience for most residents.
