Man can try, but Mother nature is more powerful ,she dictates the Universal rules of survival.Example, The Tsunami in Thailand ,man could never control such a force, .The atom bomb is made by man but he could never control its affects.
Volcano's , Scientists, monitor them but, they cannot control them ,they can only warn the world it will happen, All you can do is RUN.So on that score Man cannot realistically control nature he has to accept certain limitations. He can enhance certain aspects of life but nature will have the last word and destroy what man has achieved. Humans must start to have more respect for the planet if we are to survive.Mother Nature is our friend.

Man could not change nature because nature is nature and it is natural in scope. A man has no power to change nature made by God.
Like for example: the ocean could not be change to river and the river could be made by man to be an ocean or the mountainous area could not be change by man as a plain land or man can not change the cow to horse, and so forth and so.on.
Next time do not use the word triumph if you mean change because triumph means success or act of winning or joy of success, okay?
