It's not like you said. Have a look at my profile or my questions. I'm asking it on different forums just trying to extrapolate what is the common idea of culture thru different countries and besides different national culture ...

I answered a similar question only yesterday...

In summary, I think "culture" is the summation of all those characteristics (whether positive or negative, both traditional and modern) that the majority of those belonging to a particular society (or a sub-section of it) would recognise as having in common, that define that society and set it apart from other societies.

Culture includes not only creative things, like literature, art, architecture and performing arts, but also languages, food, the natural environment and the way we manage it, the way we use our time, the values that we commonly believe to be important, and the aspects of behaviour that are typically considered to be acceptable or otherwise.

Culture is just the arts/ instances of human intellectual achievement regarded as a whole. There isn't exactly an idea behind it, it is just a word used to describe the above of different nations different aspects etc.
