Yesterday at my job, (Manager of a maternity shop) a customer fainted. Boy, I was no help, when she fell, Like a dumb blonde I am,I promptly fainted beside her.My 16 year old employee revived us both. I feel so stupid for this. Was my reaction normal? If so why do I feel so stupid? Any answers positive or negitive welcome.

I suggest you ask the regional boss if they would pay for a St John Ambulance course on first aid. That way you can turn a negative into a positive.

Try this one. A similar thing happened to me and a friend. She was pregnant at the time,and she fainted while we were shopping.The two store clerks promptly fainted too.I was the only one in the store standing. I call emergency and say I need 3 ambulances,at ------------- 3 people just fainted. Weird but true.

Sorry to laugh at your expense but that is quite funny! I don't think it's abnormal, you obviously fainted because you were shocked (and a complete wooss!) I agree with the first answer you got - go on a first aid course and next time something like that happens you'll be able to keep a clear head!

No its not silly it was caused by stress, which is a physiological cause and often not under your control.It may be a good idea to talk to the doctor .
