Parents don't(At least not mine) They have the "power" to be in charge and kids don't get a say in it. ex: I'm not having this conversation anymore, ...Because I said so and Im your mom/dad, give me some respect!(well if you'd respect me once in a while maybe I would >:-(( )

The phrase "all men are created equal" refers to legal and political rights. Since children don't vote, they're not equal.
