Today we are just too interested in the lives of others, be it stars, politicians, "reality shows" etc., and the freakier the better. But why? Punks, head-bangers, insect eaters, tatoo laden folk, neo-Nazis, crazy stunt makers, all look very freaky, yet they are all fascinating to us. Are they the freak shows of today? What do you think.

Are women fit for combat, even with all of the feminine hygiene issues involved? What about the incorporation of men and women on the battlefield and dealing with the sexual tensions that could be involved that could possibly compromise the mission?

I thought men are the ones to go to war to save and protect the women and children back home. Afterall, it's only been in the late 20th century and the rise of the feminist movement that our society has allowed women into combat. Not saying it's wrong, but is it really right?

My OWN family is so evil that they'd deny my request as a friend on MySpace, but a stranger will be nice to accept you. Weird, isn't it?

I just gave my roommates 30 days' notice for my moving out (maybe it's even 32 days). They say that 30 isn't long enough, and I told them that 30 is the standard. They say they have never heard that before. I said that is the standard (it is not my fault that they don't know standard things in the world) and she said "Where is that written?" I said it is the standard--not the best answer to her question. I told her I'd find somewhere to prove that most people know about 30 days being the standard.
How might I go about doing this? besides asking around.

When are people like david c going to leave me alone about my English writing, I write how I feel and dont want any poncy little man telling me what to do. If I wish to start a sentence with a small letter I will do. I thought this was a relaxed fun site but not with people like that it isnt. They havent even got the guts to show an e mail address. Can anyone tell me why.

A teacher asked a math question in class 4 extra credit, I instantly knew the anwser and stood in front of the board did the equations but it was wrong...The very same kid in front of me rewrote what was my mistake and he got it right...What he said shocked me more when he sat down, when he turned around to face me. He said, "No matter how much effort you give, you will always earn second to last place, because you are just different and you suck at things.

"And you try so hard but it's useless, even with help from others they truly think working hard gets them rewards but it doesnt."

"There are two ways by which every winner gets and loser gets, 1 is by working hard and geting rewards like me, and 1 like your self working hard and get nothing."

I felt so bad, when I came home pulled off every 2nd place honors.

Why do I give it all and fail.

I have to try harder and longer than others if I was to be able to compete in the Society

Why is it so hard for people to understand and work toward what this little word means?
I try to give others respect and abide by their wishes, yet get very little in return. Please explain it to me.
