My OWN family is so evil that they'd deny my request as a friend on MySpace, but a stranger will be nice to accept you. Weird, isn't it?

Are you notified when strangers reject you?

There's going to be a certain percentage of people that will simply accept everyone. And a percentage of people that will reject everyone. So it makes sense that a blanket solicitation of strangers would have more acceptance than asking individual family members.

No, because strangers don't know you, so you're easier to accept for them.

that's because the stranger doesn't know you, and he or she has no idea whether you're a gossip or a mean person like your family does.
