I see these all the time- plastered under an American flag. What do you really mean by this? How do you want to see the troops supported? Or is a statement against people who wish to see the Iraq and Afghanistan wars end? A little of both??? Have you thought about it?

Supporting troops, to me, means supporting what the people fighting care most about: their families, adequate medical coverage, an exit strategy, PTSD and mental health support, a sense of a job well done, strategies to support lasting peaceful resolution of the issues. What does it mean to YOU? Do you have a "support our troops" decal?

Why is it ok to show the most macobb violence and rotting corpses on television, but showing a naked person or showing two people making love is unnaceptable? Did janet jacksons breast offend you? Should sensorship dissapear or change or is it good the way it is?

I want surgery to fix my flabby baby belly and my breasts lifted and made larger after nursing 2 kids. I can only afford one procedure this coming year and the other in 2008. Which procedure should I get first. My belly looks flat when I lay down but so do my breasts and when I am upright my breasts look good but my belly squinches up. Which is the lesser evil of the 2??

I work for a government funded company, and it just exasperates me when people use excuses as to why they should get preferential treatment. I feel like screaming when I hear "I'm a single parent." "It's HOW long? I need it NOW!" "This is an emergency." "I just got out of an abusive relationship, so I need this."
It's not that I don't have sympathy for them. I just wish they would try playing the victime card. I, too, am a single parent, who was granted a divorce from an abusive spouse, but I'm not going around expecting the world to be handed to me on a platter.
I was raised that you work for what you get.

I just don't understand the people that will believe when society says they can't because of X reason or other. Why don't more people try to prove society wrong, and show everyone they can, BECAUSE of X reason.

there was one other previous case....what do you think should happen...life in prison...I'm sure there had to be drugs involved cuz no one in their right mind would do such a thing....how do we prevent copy cats.....it would never occur in my mind that this could be humanly possible any thoughts or comments...

Teachers are allways whining on about how badly treated they are but do they do as many hours as most people? If they dont they should just shut up and think how lucky they are to only work (i guess) 36 weeks per year. Many of them (but not all i know) take up teaching for the very reason that they can have the same time off as their children (or just plain lazy). Comments in under 50 words by tomorrow please.

i know i have a problem with my weight(im a size 28)but i was just coming out of the local chippy and the local youths where hanging around outside and as i walked past them they started calling me "fatty" and "slob chav" .Anyway i got to the top of the street and it started raining so i put up my umbrella and to my surprise they had started following me shouting abuse.As they got nearer i could feel things thudding on my umbrella.........i had a look and they where throwing tampons on my umbrella!!They eventually caught up and started throwing vegtable oil all over me until i slipped over covered in filthy grease and tampons stuck to me.Why do people find it fun to mock fat people?

After travelling to States a couple times I've noticed that less educated people or those who belong to lower middle class had the tendency to display the american flag in front of their houses wherever I went (especially in the poor areas). At the same time the rich and/or educated people don't bother with it. Is it because the lower class is that brain-washed to believe that this is an act that shows their patriotism? Or are they not sure where they are and need to remind themselves of it?
I understand doing it at an international sport event like olympics but why do it at home?

yet there is a TV programme on showing these teenage mums, who got preggers at 14 etc..
