Your story doesn't necessarily have to be an inspirational one, but let this be a chance for you to shout to the world about someone or something someone did for you that you think should be universal in this world. If you can't think of anything, don't worry - just write up something (either about someone or what they did) that inspires you.

We all love an inspirational person, don't we?

I was nine, I found a hawk wounded under the powerlines near my home. I went to the hawk and covered it with my jacket then started home, carrying the hawk and talking softly to it.
On my way home an old man, Mr. Mills saw me and wondered why I was talking to my jacket so he came over and checked it out.
He took me and the hawk home and told my mom he was going to take us both to the vet. We went to the vet and got help for the bird.
I never will forget what Mr. Mills told me as we were coming home from the vet and the Department of Wildlife.
He said " Any young man who cares more for an animal than the cold, is worth having as a friend and I'm proud to count you as one of mine."
I know it seems like a simple thing, especially now that I'm older, but Mr. Mills made me a rancher and taught me about wildlife. he made a real mark in my life.

I am grateful to all the poets, artists, and visionaries who helped give my life purpose throughout the years. The gift of words helps us through the darkest times, and creates an image that lasts through time.

The surgeon removed my right lung so therefore he had to move my heart out of the way to do it.
