The author of the question didn't say that the Americans hated the Iranians - he only asked IF you did or not...
Russians don't hate anyone. What made you think so? Perhaps your extensive knowledge of the Russian history and culture?
To hate someone... you must know this one...

Personally, I have nothing against Iran or the people who live there. However, if the media is accurate, then the Iranians hate us with a passion. It's hard for people not to hate people who hated them first. What are we supposed to think when we see images of Iranians burning our flag? Or hear news that they want us all dead? Is that supposed to make everyone here in America love them? People hate those that hate them. It's just one of those facts of life.
Incidentally, the main reason I have nothing against Iranians is because I think the media is biased and only focuses on a small part of the news; the part that gets them the most ratings, that is. They care nothing for truth or a balanced story that tells both sides of the issue. As a result, I have to read the same story from at least 3 different reliable news sources and all three of those sources have to contain as little bias as possible. Even then, I take it with a grain of salt.

No, certainly not. Actually, I'm under the impression that the majority of Americans have no grudge against Iranians, or any other nationality for that matter. We will not be biased against or for a country; we prefer (or at least I HOPE we prefer) to like or dislike people based on who they are as an individual, and not as a statistic or population.
Frankly, it's important to understand that just because media and news networks portray Americans as some way (i.e. hating), it doesn't mean that every American soul in the world feels that way. On the contrary, we are all individuals with our own feelings, much like any other country in the world.

I don't hate anyone. I don't even know a Iranian person. I don't think most Americans which is what? USA?
Anyway most people in the USA have never met one. So how can we hate them? If they are in the USA then they are an American citizen, we don't hate any USA citizens.
Once they are here they are not Iranians. Unless just visiting and I don't know anyone who was just visiting.
I think in the military there was this guy his parents was from Iran.
but he was an American Citizen. He was a real nice guy.
