So couple minutes ago a guy posted a question about how women are "simple minded". Well, my mom is a neurologist, my sister is a lawyer, and I'm going to be a freshmen at Yale University this fall going into medicine. And there are so many more women out there like us, so are we so simple minded now?!? NO. So i wish people like him shuts up. Who agrees with me?

I hear this argument from athesists, but can you think of other things that exist, that you cannot reach out and touch something tangible, like hatred, prejudice, etc.

Dogs hear what we can't, Bats see what we can't, and Bee's see a flower much differently than you and I...

If I have no valid "proof" of something, and my senses cannot detect it, is this by default a valid argument that it must not exist?

Do you notice a big difference in the way you are treated depending on how you dress? (Example....if you go into a store in a nice dress or suit do they treat you differently that if you go in on your way home from the gym in workout clothes?)

I asked a question earlier and in the details I mentioned freedom of speech and one of the respondents replied: "Your right to free speech does not give you the right to say what you want, because if you said what YOU wanted, you would be violating the rights of others"
I just wanted to know if anyone else believed that

If you advocate pro choice, you label yourself as a pro choice person, and you are a male. If your girl is pregnant and YOU really want the baby, but she doesn't, and she goes and gets an abortion, would you be mad even though you advocate that a womans body is hers and she decides what to do? What is the right response to this? It was her choice no one made her do it, but at the same time it was also YOUR baby, is this where a persons beliefs and a persons emotions become a conflict?

I know this is a touchy subject, but do atheists have the same distain towards evil as they do towards God.

Are people more likely to believe in the Devil versus God, since evil seems to be much more prevelent and progressively mainstream?
