my best friend told me a secret and i told someone else and she found out about it.now she says that she doesn't trust me anymore.i want her to trust me again but now she won't even talk to me.can anyone give me any tips on how to get her to talk to me?

i'm beautiful and smart.....?

not to be stuck up, but its the truth. i'm very good looking, smart, nice, caring, i have good values, i'm happy, i treat other good, i love to have fun....
and i get hated on by girls all the time.
should i just put an end to this by beating them up? any other options? i really don't want to fight...i'll mess up my hair and nails and cute outfit. please help.

Anyone know anything about dogs?

I'm looking for a breed that is quite common (at least here in the UK) to help my little cousin with her scrap book.

All I can tell you (I don't know much canine terminology I'm afraid) is that these dogs are fairly large bt not 'giants', and in shape and size look like a combination of labrador/greyhound. Very athletic looking.

They are uniformly a soft beige/light chocolate colour (hazel?), very short glossy fur, and their most striking deature is that their eyes match their fur almost 100%

What can you tell me about the dogs despite thier name (eg, temprament, history, habits etc etc).

Why is it that I get told off for being a "Liberal"?

I never got involved with any particular political party, instead I have spoken and voted in line with what I felt best. I don't believe anyone has ALL the right answers, not even me ... so I ascertain the best rought possible to achieve the best result through all the options. Is that being Liberal? I don't advertise with logos on my shirts and I'm sick of being politically labled because of my opinions. I am an American first ... opinionated, second.

Are Great Danes aggressive?

I've a friend who has just bought a large farm with lots of land, and wants a big dog to go with it (she had a bordie collie until recently but it died).

I recommended an Irish Wolfhound (I don't know much about dogs but just like them personally), but she prefers the idea of a Great Dane...however I have been told that they don't have a lot going for them; apparently they are slow, stupid and do nothing but eat. Is this true? The dog would have to be an outdoorsey type.

Are there any other alternatives in this size category? And how big are Wofhounds compared to Great Danes in terms of overall size (I'm presuming Wolfhounds are skinnier....)

Are we lost?.......?

OK so not just on this site but in the world at large, people are saying that society is well on it's way down the pan, human nature is failing, we have irrepairably f*cked up mother earth and that (if you are of a religious belief) the End of Times in close.

However I relaise people have been saying stuff along these lines for ages, perhaps millenia- so do you think we are all on a highway to hell, or is it just the old doomsday predictions never die?
