Sadly, yes. By the way, the person who thinks hurricanes will be boys names this year....they alternate A - boy, B- girl, c - boy, D- girl. etc. Incidentally my name is slated to be used this year and I'm wondering just how destructive I might be.

The odds are against it. The problem is that hurricanes will hit anywhere along the coast. People need to protect themselves if they are headed their direction. People had been predicting the results of Katrina for years yet nobody reacted.

I sure hope not. The only people that know are God and Mother Nature and lets hope they blow their winds east or west so NO can rebuild and flouish once again.

I don't think they are doomed, but they certainly need to be aware of every storm headed their way.
