If you advocate pro choice, you label yourself as a pro choice person, and you are a male. If your girl is pregnant and YOU really want the baby, but she doesn't, and she goes and gets an abortion, would you be mad even though you advocate that a womans body is hers and she decides what to do? What is the right response to this? It was her choice no one made her do it, but at the same time it was also YOUR baby, is this where a persons beliefs and a persons emotions become a conflict?

This could be flipped the other way as well. Say she wants to keep it and he doesn't. All of the sudden, he doesn't feel responsible for the child because SHE made the decision to keep it. The whole debate is unfair, but there's nothing we really can do about it. Utimately, the person carrying the child gets the decision. I don't think the man could get too upset about her decision, unless he agreed to take full responsibility for the child.

The bottom line is it's the woman's choice. Yes, it sucks that you were not given a choice in this matter, but that's part of life. There are things you have to accept even if you wanted to have a child. My advice is to discuss these things before getting involved with someone, but it will always be the woman's ultimate decision. Sorry, dude.

I hope this didn't actually happen to you, that's sad.

I really think the father has a right to the baby. Unfortunately as a woman, we are the carriers. But that is the risk we take with having sex.

Obviously you deserve a child with someone though who would not terminate. So, no need to be upset. The child will be reborn. We are all the same spirit.
