Absolutely....especially when flying. They are so nice to you when you're not the one wearing your pj's or sweats!

they say clothes make the person, and that saying is partly true, but you make yourself whats special about yourself and not your clothes, sure its nice to have a good image but that's not every thing, people are to fixated on image, when it's the image that kills, people try and look like the model's in the magazines and get eating disorders and die with out help, so no image doesn't matter, at least not to me. If people treat you different it's because they think you are wealthier cause you dress nice but it either one thing or the other, no middle ground i fashion.

Absolutely, especially some places. There's a shopping center near me that has a lot of expensive stores and if I go in looking scruffy they look at me like I must be there to scrub the floor! Makes me want to pull a 'Pretty Woman' shopping snobs thing on them!!

I guess. But, why wear a suit to a grocery store? Be yourself and you'll be treated the way you should be.

Yes, I walked into Macy's in my band tee with jeans and converse, and the old ladies that think they are better than everyone else looked at me like I was trash.

True, true.
My family said " If you dressed nicely for public, you show that you care about yourself and respect others also."
If you don't care what other think of you, you don't care what you wear. Simple.
