American Civil Liberties Union - ha! They take liberty from people to appease the whinning. Why can't a gas station have a nativity scene around Christmas?! WTF? It's a holiday - if people don't like it, use another gas station! I could go on and on - they take liberty, not protect it.

They fight for freedom every day. Many people recieved a bad education and they think that freedom is only for certain people in certain situations. They don't understand that Rights are a gaurantee, not a privelege. if one person loses his or her rights then we all lose them because they are no longer gauranteed.

Now a days people say dumb things like "The ACLU once helped a criminal so I hate them."Apparently they didn't pay attention in school. The reason we have so many protections for accused criminals in our constitution is not because the founding fathers loved criminals, it's because FREEDOM does not exist unless all people are gaurenteed its benefits.

If you find out the governemnt is listening to american's phone calls without a warrant, for example, you might think that well, I have nothing to worry about because I haven't done anything wrong, and if a couple terrorists get arrested, well then it's all good.

But that's a ignorant and dangerous view because the very fact that the government thinks they can spy on you without a warrant means you are not free, whether or not it ever happens.

I think that most of the heads of the ACLU should be brought up on charges under Rico Statutes for conspiring to alter the Constitution, and terminate freedom of religion, as well as committing many other Anti-American acts for their personal agenda.
