It seems like most people do something that is illeagle. Whether it's speed, or drink underage, or drugs, or share their prescriptions when someone else needs it, or something. Sometimes these things lead to bad ends, and sometimes they don't. A while ago I talked to someone who hates drug users cuz someone on coke killed someone he knew. But not everyone on coke, kills people. Is it better than hating all people of that person's race, or people that share other activities with that person, or interests? Say, he was an artist, is it okay to hate all artists now cuz an artist killed your friend, or just all artists on coke?

Is todays youth so disengaged as to what is going on in the world today?

I seem to remember the last major war we were in, students on campuses around the country were engaged at what was going on, and voicing their opinions, protesting in the streets, etc.

Has technology such as cell-phones, e-mail, taken the backbone out of our young people who SHOULD be leading the way...

I may be ol' school in thinking, but this for me is one serious RED FLAG.

Are any other guys turned off by this?

My friend is turning 20 this year, and she's had crushes, but she never dated or anything. Her crushes didn't know she crushed. She's thinking that eventually she'll marry, but she isn't even dating yet! She's good at school and knows her career goals, but I'm thinking a bit of dating won't hurt. BTW, she's got emotional scars from her family. Suggestions?

I had a situation wher my boyfriend and one of my good friends got into a confrontation. She started calling him out of his name, etc. He sat and ingnored her for a while. Then she said something about me and my ex, which is his first cousin. He flipped. He went over to her and grabbed her. It wasnt long. Then he let her go and walked out of the room to try to calm down. Then she followed him and started punching him and slapping him. He didn't do anything at first, but attempt to block her blows. Then she must've hit him too hard because he punched her once in her jaw. She fell backwards on the floor like dead weight and was unconsciencious. He immediately walked out the building repeating how sorry he was. The ambulance was called for her because she was bleeding out of her mouth and her head. He went and turned himself in. So the question I am asking you is was he entirely wrong because his reflexes took over him or was it not even reflexes and he was just wrong?
