It is along the lines of fate. I don't believe in fate, I do believe things happen based on consequence. Murphy's law cant be infinite because the opposite always happens. If fate were this unseen, unstoppable and unpredictable force, then it would happen more often and not occasionally. I believe that God made everything in the universe, so why would he create fate or luck? If these elements can effect our lives at any given moment, then they must be aware of their own self, conscience, significance and abilities. And that my friend isn't possible...its an aberration.

Also known in UK as 'Sod's Law'.
Murphy's Law dictates: 1. That if you drop something, it will fall into the most inaccessible place. 2. That if something is going to happen, it will, no matter what efforts you make to prevent it. 3. If you drop a slice of buttered toast, it is guaranteed to land on the floor buttered side down.
