I have found it has given me a tremendous freedom that I never had before. When I was younger I cared too much about what others thought about practically every aspect of my life. I let that affect most of the decisions that I made. Now I realize that being happy and making those around me happy is what really counts. I don't care very much any more about impressing people with looks, money, what I say, what I do, etc. What a relief it has been!

Independence, wisdom, financial security(So they say but I haven't become that mature yet!LOL) and better quality relationships.

I'll let you know when I get there. Oh well, when I was 14, I realized how stupid I actually was. I hear this can take decades longer for others.

We settle down and don't agonize over small things (my gf dated my ex bf.. ad nausem), so we are happier.
We know who we are.
We become very accomplished lovers.

i really enjoy getting up twice in the middle of the night to pee... the wrinkles aren't bad either
