in he imperfect mode? For example...if you translate it literally it would say "and Strong Ones (Elohim) will say let there be light and Strong Ones (Elohim) will divide the light from the darknes"...and so on. Why is this? Is there an English Bible version that translates in this manner? I have not ever seen this until I started learning Biblical Hebrew for myself and discovered this in a translation assignment of Genesis chapter 1. Any insight on this?

I won't dare post this in the Religion section....I won't get one good answer and most people will think I am making this all up.

How do you distinguish between bien, buen, and bueno/a?
also with mal and malo?

I understand that you can say estoy bien as in I am fine, and estoy mal as in I don't feel well. And soy bueno is I am good(as a person) and soy malo as in I am bad.

but when you use them as adjectives, sometimes it's bien chico or chico bueno. whats the difference?
also, how do you know when to put it before the noun?

please it's been bugging me for all of the 3 years of spanish that ive taken. i probably should know those by now. but thats why i need you guy's help :D

I thought the spanish word for 'and' is 'y'

but I have a spanish guitar (made in madrid) and it says
'Rodriguez e hijos'
(Rodriguez and sons)
Why is it 'e'? why isn't it 'y'?
Is it because it's hard to say it because it's the same sound after one another? Or is it Madrid dialect?
Please explain!

I post a question and in the details, I introduce myself as Math author and I ask politely for an honest answer. One user named John did not answer my question but rather gave me these comments:

Copy and Pasted from John's comment
You will find yourself discriminated more due to your lack of grammer than your nationality.
I have no idea what nationality you are, but I have already formed a decision that you are not well read, nor well educated by the way you write.
On the web, no one sees your color

I agree I'm not good in grammar because I have less interest in English language and I am more in math, but of course I can communicate. I just want to ask, are you guys particular with grammar here in Yahoo Answers?
