What is it translated into Latin... I make a range of T-Shirts with foreign phrases on them. My last latin ones (Peccavi, I have sinned) were a huge hit, I'd love the correct translation of "I came, I saw" please!

Come va?
Sei più te stessa di due anni fa
Sei meno ossa e meno ostilità
Il vino in compagnia
Non ti attormenta più

Guida tu
Mi piace come cambi e come sei
E puniti i fari in faccia alla città
Non piu gelosa ma
Golosa di quel che fai

"Global warming will bring hurricanes far more severe than Katrina and will cause natural climate-control mechanisms to go wrong. Rising temperatures will lower crop yields in many of the world’s poorest countries. The immense tensions brought about by such catastrophes will occur in a time of extremism, religious belligerence and suicidal terrorism."

Question is about the phrase "immense tensions". I would like to know the word "tensions" refers to people's emotional or nervous state or some conditions in which there are tensions.

1. Personal subject reference, as in "her tension is building up" or 2. an objective condition as in "the event created a lot of tensions". Thanks a lot in advance.

I was talking on the phone to someone in Spanish and he said "Oye..." and something that sort of sounded like nena. I know the Spanish term of endearment "nena" but what he said honestly sounded more like "lena" or even "elena" or something slightly different. Then again, the connection is really bad (he's in a 3rd world country) and it's difficult to hear/understand so maybe it was just nena.

He said the phrase "oye -whatever he said-" comes from a song.

Sooooo.... anyone have any guess what it could have been if it wasn't nena? Or was it almost for sure nena? Anyone know what song it may have been?

Thanks!!!

tan = so (used with adjectives)
tanto = so much (used with verbs)

for example,

te quiero tanto = I love you so much
tu pelo es tan largo = your hair is so long

is this the correct way to use "tan" & "tanto"?
are there other things I should know?

Tony was walking through town.

He got hungry and ordered a sandwich.

He left the café and got in his car.

He drove to walmart and entered the store.

He grabbed a book and walked out.

The alarm went off and he ran.

Two men chased him down the street shooting at him.

He hid under a car and waited there.

The gunmen found him and shot him

He survived and never stole again.

Thanks

"Can you let me know when we get by there"
should I say "get around there" instead of get by there

What's the difference between by and around ?

Where is a bathroom around here?
where is a bathroom by here?
are both correct?
