I'm bilingual, English and Portuguese, and I find I can think in either one, depending on what I'm doing. So how common is this in bilingual people? Can all bilingual people do this?

Is this right??

¡Usted puede saltar en la piscina y pasar tiempo con su familia!

i'm trying to say, "you can jump in the pool and spend time with your family!"

also: Usted pueda nadar para muchos horas.

i'm trying to say, "you can swim for hours"

THANK YOU!

Near the end of the movie "Cars", what did the new Ferrari say to the old Ferrari? He was speaking Italian, and no translation was given. I could only make out the last word, "fantastigi", which I assume means "fantastic".

English is my second language. Lately, I've seen, many times, people using the word "pretty", where I'd use "beautiful". Does one word mean "more" than the other, or they just are used in different situations, to refer to different kinds of things?

Thank you for your answer, and have a wonderful day! :)
