Yes, but 'wohnst du in Deutschland' is just 'Do you live in Germany,' not 'where.' You could say 'Wo wohnst du?' or 'Wo in Deutschland wohnst du?' And that would be more specifically 'where in Germany do you live?' =) Hope this helped!

As Amkii says, what you've written translates as "Hey good morning lol do you live in Germany" (incidentally, do you ever use punctuation?)

What you really want is: "Hey, guten morgen lol! Woher kommst du in Deutschland?"

"Wo wohnst du in Deutschland?" means "Where do you live in Germany?" Which is not quite the same. I live in Edinburgh, but I'm from Dolgellau.

The first part yes:
hey guten Morgen_Hey good morning

The second one means this:
Wohnst du in Deutschland?-Do you live in germany?

If you want to ask Where in Germany are you from then it is:
Woher bist du in Deutschland?

Gutenmorgen, welches Teil Sie von in Deutschland sind?

Gutenmorgen, die von Deutschland zerteilen, sind Sie von?
I believe this would be more proper.
It says "Goodmorning, which divide from Germany, are you of?"

I would say:
Hey good morning, do you live in Germany?
