Well mate, the problem is not with your voice or your accent. The problem is someething related to stammering or could be stammering itself. Well friend, we here at Yahoo! answers can't help you much but can just suggest you to visit a Speech therapist who can help you out by diagnosing your problem. Second thing, you must have been lacking the self-confidence and courage. And you should forget bout you disability (I should say) when speaking to someone because that will surely help you overcome your problem. I can say all this because I can't speak properly sometimes because of stammering and often tend to aviod words. Well, you should be proud with your deep voice although the problem is not caused with your voice. Best of luck brother

Keep talking with your child, explain and use as many words as you can. By the time he is 3 if he does not have more words MAKE the Dr. check out his hearing etc. But remember all children are different and develop at different rates. I have 2 that are 10 months apart. The first (almost 3)one talks a lot, she has a lot of words and talks in complete sentences. The other (almost 2) has some words (like your son) but does not care to talk much. Her sister at the same age had a lot more words. No need to worry!

Don't worry, there is a lot you can do about it since you're only 12. You'll have to seek professional help of a Speech Pathologist who will identify your problem and help you work through it. You'll probably have to do a lot of work and it will take time and commitment, but eventually it is very likely that you'll make amaizng progress. It all depends on your motivation how badly you want to overcome your problem.
