German generally fuses the consecutive words (particularly noun components) together, resulting in, in comparision to the English language, incredibly long words.

What is the longest word in German?

We are travelling to Barcelona in June with my daughter who has a serve nut allergy. On reading some reviews of the hotel we are staying in we found that the staff do not speak very good english. As we are staying half board and will eat at the hotel please could any spanish speakers translate:

My daughter has a potentially fatal nut allergy. She is allergic to all nuts including:

peanut, hazelnut, almond, pistachio, brazilnut, macadamian, walnut, cashew, pecan and coconut and all nut products including nut oils.

Please could you advise me on which foods DO NOT contain nuts and nut products?.

Thank you much appreciated.

Granted not all people on Yahoo Answers are native English speakers, actually the non-native speakers usually have better grammar than the native speakers. Have you also noticed this phenomenon?

In the UK we call # a sharp, I believe in the states it's called a Pound. Indeed you even have it on the same key on the US keyboard as we have the £ sign, that we call a pound.
So for what purpose would you use your # pound symbol and would you ever use our £ symbol for anything?

Though I believe you still call the language C# C-Sharp.

Such as: "take out a pencil with which to write with". And, molest me not.. And other re-arranged sentence structures because it seems to this user's brother that the spoken language greatly varies from the written language.

Hi, this question is for Spanish speakers. By that, I mean somebody who speaks Spanish on a regular basis and doesn't refer me to online translators. I don't care what online translators say because they aren't people ;D

Which word do you use for "car" - and what country are you (or your family) from? I'm curious because I almost always hear Mexicans say "carro" but then again sometimes they don't.

- Coche
- Carro
- Something else?

thanks!

I saw it on a menu and it starts with 'bai', but I don't know the next three characters. From what the waitress said, I'm pretty sure it was a phonetic form of 'russian', rather than 'e'.

Any help? And, if possible, could you please provide the answer in pinyin and with chinese characters.
