How can you tell if you are speaking with a Canadian or American before you ask them as they get offended if you get it wrong. One of them said "How would you like if we said New Zealanders and Australians sound the same", I said so what who cares, it's not a sin to get it wrong

I've been taking Spanish translation quizzes for my Spanish class and have been able to go through 300-400 questions. I am stuck on three translations.

Don't bring them to him. (feminine)

Bring it to me. (feminine)

Don't put them here. (masculine)

I can't seem to translate these with the "lo" and "la" endings.

Ayuda me!

I am doing a recital in June, with the following German art song included. The translation book I have does not include this particular song. I have tried online translations, but would really like to get this exact. Pls help! : = umlaut

Ich ruhe still im hohen gru:nen Gras
und sende lange meinen Blick nach oben,
von Grillen rings umschwirrt ohn' Unterlass,
von Himmelsbla:ue wundersam umwoben.

Die scho:nen weissen Wolken zieh'n dahin
durchs tiefe blau, wie scho:ne stille Tra:ume,
mir ist, als ob ich la:ngst, gestorben bin,
und ziehe selig mit durch ew'ge Ra:ume.

Thank you!!

I'd suspect that there's a masculine and feminine for diary/journal though the online translations aren't specific enough to intrepret.
