my dad is american, but my moms Indian. but my mom born in america. she has the accent, buts its not noticable. my fourfathers are from either Gujrat, Indiia. the accents in my family highly faded, n i used to neva have the accent. i just got the accent like 6months ago n i like the accent, but i dont think i should have it cuz im born in america. i speak Gujrati n Hndi, but still y i gotta accent? it aint really a full Indian accent, but its more like my "th"s are more guttaral soundin. its almost like a soft "d" i flip my "r"s after constanants, my "r"s after a vowel is more heavy soundin, n my "b"s are more heavier. i also talk in slang all da time, so it adds on to my accent. sometimes it aint there, sometimes it gets really bad n people cant understand me. also, my "n"s are more nasal. its like a cross between Indian and american ebonix accent. n when i speak Gujrati, i sound like im from Gujrat. im 19 y/o male and i dunno where this accent comin from. is this normal?
