That's how you SAY it in French, but it MEANS :
When the French refer to a "lost life" in this context it means a life without the person asking that question. It's a very romantic saying, in English it would be formed, "Let me help you find your real life by putting myself in it." Sort of like our pickup line, "Where have you been all my life?" Except this time around, the asker is being a wee more confident in him/herself. However if someone asks you this, take it as a romantic expression.

Edit #1 - to John-John - sorry but you should double check on yr book of French grammar since the possessive pronoun vôtre MUST be written with the circumflex accent (^)- It would be a mistake to write 'votre' as you (and others) suggest. Here's a link for yr control.....!!!

to find normaly is "trouver" but in that case we will say "retrouver".

Martox is right, except for "votre" . It is written without the...little roof above. With the...little roof=yours.-
