So many countries have different accents and you can tell what part you are from.

Here in Australia, we have one accent. Some words are pronounced differently, but you wouldn't be able to tell where someone is from.

Why is that?

I am looking for books written at a children's level (the younger, the better) in Greek. If you could provide a link to a specific book, I would greatly appreciate it. The only websites I can find are written in Greek and I haven't learned the language yet.

For example, they'll use English colors to describe stuff like pink, blue, etc in katakana, but why not the French word for pink? Or why no Indonesian for pink? Why was English chosen as their main language for katakana words?

Can someone please explain the difference between "usted(tu)," "te," and "ti," explain when and where they are used, and give 1 or 2 examples of each? I don't understand them at all. Try to be as specific as you can.
Also, what's the point of having a second person direct object pronoun? Why say "Le conozco a usted" when you could just say "Conozco usted?" Thanks...

In a story I'm writing, three of my characters, a father and a daughter and a son, are Italian. He refers to his children as 'little wolfs" or 'wolfen', and he means it in a (mostly) affectionate way. I'm wondering what the correct translation of this would be into Italian. I could translate this on a regular translation engine, but I'm not sure if it will give me the right thing. I've been burned by them before, lol.

I appreciate any help at all!
