Whenver i attemp to read a long sentence, i run out of air , i need to take a gasp of air or pas saliva. and then as the air is ending...my voice gets shaky and i sound as if i'm about to cry, which is embarrasing at work. I don't , and have never seen anyone else have this problem.

I'm usually a shy person , almost never talk and at home...i just say short little 3, 4 , word sentences.. and i'm slow so i don't have much of a problem at home cause nobody cares.. But at work, if they make us read something... and then i sound as if i'm about to cry.. I don't like that. How can i train to have enough air to finish a long sentence.

I'm 27 male. just in case you think i'm a kid

How can I say this in Spanish:

"I'm sorry, when you called me I was taking a shower and missed your call. I tried to call you and you didn't answer."

Would I say "Lo siento, cuando me llamaste, me duchaba tan perdí tu llamada. Traté de llamarte y no contestaste." or am I wayyy wrong?!

THANKS!!!!
