Depends on what kind of Latin you want. If you're going for classical latin, a better phrase might be creatum a deo (for one creature), or creata a deo (for creation as a whole) - literally "thing/things created by God". Creatio in classical Latin usually had the sense of election or appointment (i.e. of a government official). In late Latin, creatio began to acquire "creation" as we use the word today as its primary meaning.
