The country I have is Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico stands for Rich Port.
This is because it is a very valuable stop for exports and inports.
The article I have says that this country wants to be independent.
Because Puerto Rico is part of the United States.
They will have meetings to discuss this.
That is basically what my article is about.

As always, their suspension had been owing to some incorrectness on my part that I could not even remember, the upshopt being that had I had subsequent need of his advice I would not have dared show my face in his office.

What does " stand him to a drink" means?
And what does" I would have wound up in the position I so dreaded, that of the person who des all the paying" means?

When I am trying to understand English, I approach to it grammatically not naturally. That is why I am poor at English.

A bathroom is only a bathroom if it has a BATH in it. Do you see how that works? The fact that the word 'bathroom' starts with the letters b-a-t-h might give you a clue.

I am aware that there are over 200,000 canadians of Spanish (from Spain) descent. I was just wondering if these people of Spanish descent still speak spanish. I think they do, but I'm not sure. Are there any Spanish-Canadians out there who can answer my question? If they do speak Spanish, I think it's kind of cool how it's lasted over the generations and I also wanted to know if they spoke with a spanish accent or a more canadianized accent (sort of like the evolution of British English to American and Canadian English).
