If it is pronounced as 'rakhna', it means 'to keep'. depending on where it is used, it has different meanings.

"yeh kitab rakhna" - "keep this book"

"apna khayal rakhna" = "take care of yourself"

If you're south indian, you probably mean rakhna, so the first answer is correct.
