Hi, I am from Taiwan and I got an English question. It goes like this:"Devoted to defending lost causes and beautiful women, Tanner possesses an array of talents and connections so singular that he is a natural for perilous top-secret missions--the sort that will retroactively cease to exist if something goes wrong.
Please tell me, what does "the sort" refer to here. Does it refer to "missions" or "Tanner", the secret agent?
Thank you very much for your answers.

I am trying to choose a stage name for belly dancing, and want to play off my real name (Cari) so it's easier for me. I also like Cara but pronounced like "car" not "care" (so I'm leaning towards "carra"). I just need to make sure these aren't bad words in arabic. Any other close suggestions would be welcome.
