One of my students wrote a paper using examples in Japanese, with English glosses. The problem is that I want to give him feedback, but I don't understand Japanese script! Please help me by translating the following phrases/sentences into Japanese and writing them in romanji.
older brother (one word)
younger brother (one word)
older sister (one word)
younger sister (one word)
It is not impossible for me to think that he did not come to school yesterday. (Please translate literally, with two negative phrases.)
I am going to give sweets to children who will wake up early tomorrow.

I am going into a career in international relations (specifically, a diplomat) and plan to travel internationally throughout my life. I am already studying Spanish and French (English is my native tongue)but would like to learn at least one more language, preferably one a little more "exotic" than a standard European one. (Though I think I'll learn Italian some day...)

Anywhom, I was thinking either something Middle Eastern, like Farsi/Persian or Arabic. Otherwise, someone suggested Korean...

Any input on the various difficulties of some of the languages listed above? What about how applicable each is in relation to the others? I want something that'll prove useful. As I said, I plan on traveling all over the world, not centralizing in one certain area that might otherwise help me make this decision.

Thanks for any suggestions! I really appreciate it!

I'm talking about non-'yes or no' questions.

For example...
Asker: Should I paint my house blue or green?
Answerer: Yes.

It doesn't make sense, but it happens all the time.

Are they saying yes to blue or green? Why don't they just say what they mean? Is it that hard to press a couple extra buttons?

I need some suggestions for some new music in Spanish. I like a different mix of styles, and I don't really know how to describe what I like, so I'll just list some artists I like and don't like.

What I like: Bebe (the artist from Spain who sings "Malo", there are apparently a bunch of "Bebe"s in the music world), Ojos de Brujo, Ska-P, some Cafe Tacuba, some Molotov, Ozomatli, Si*Se, Federico Aubele, Los Aterciopelados

What I don't like: La Oreja de Van Gogh, Shakira (I like a couple of her songs, but not many, really), Juanes, reggaeton (though I do like some hip hop in Spanish), Marc Antony (and the millions of other artists that sound like him)

I asked this question in the Music section also, but I wanted to get a wide range of responses, including from people who might not frequent the Music section... if you answered it over there, go ahead and aswer this one, too, and get 2 extra points! :)

Any suggestions will help, gracias!

I'm trying to improve my English, can you judge mine?
Some anwers of mine :

I'm gonna explain you the football rules :
who scores more goals, he wins.
No matter the ball possession, no matter the number of shots, no matter the corner kicks..no matter anything else, you just have to score.
If you shot 5146565161 times and you can't make goal, sorry You Go Home..

I think zidane's behaviour is to blame and he sholud feel ashemed for what he did. Football is not a war, you can't beat anyone. I hope Fifa remove the prize to him.
The whole world criticize him and french people should feel ashamed...he behaved like a stupid whining child that plays football for the first time...zidane go home!

don't answer unless you've researched it first. seriously. it's very bad to spread information that you're just guessing the answers to. there is only one correct answer, so i'm expected all of the answers to be exactly the same for this.

invariably, some of you will just answer whatever you think is right even though you nothing about this subject. seriously though, that's a bad thing to do. it fills the world with misinformation.

It's in a song called "Marie Madeline" --
"Marie Madeleine a un pied mariton."

It's about all these things she has wrong with her body, like une ventre d'acier, une cuisse de velour, etc. I think it's a drinking song, too, since she has "un gueule de bois."

Maybe it's a made-up word?
