HI, i speak 6 languages, where could be a really nice job for me to work at..... and how much do you think i should get paid per hour????

I'm fluent in 4 languages and can manage in two more, and I still have to find a job where I can use my language skills ;-)

Anyway, you may want to work as an interpreter, but you should take some classes first: simultaneous translation, consecutive translation, and even written translation are skills that you acquire through a specific training. I went to translation school only to find out that I would hate that job as much as I love speaking different languages. It's very technical and stressful.

You could also work at a hotel's front desk, on a cruise ship, as an air stewardess, or at holiday villages like Club Med's to entertain their guests if you also are very outgoing and have some sports or dancing/singing skills.

If you live in an area where there's embassies and/or consulates, you can try there too.

Or, you can teach those languages. If your grammar is solid, you can give private classes and charge $20 per hour.

OK, I don't know how much it pays, but I saw in USA Today that Hospitals need Interpreters desperately!!!! Think about it! You can really get a work out of your language skills and Help Save Lives!!!!

US government has many openings for translators. But remember, you must translate anything into whatever Bush wants, or else you will be fired like the other translators who were true to their profession.
