When your Mom baked cookies for the family, did she always eat the burnt (or too dark) ones, so that the family could have the good ones?

What do you think it is?
To me I feel like the spirit of goodness, joy and peace is all around the world and with family.
(but it only lasts for a few days)
Does everyone feel this way? How do you explain the "christmas spirit"

I feel really bad for the soldiers that have to spend the holidays in Iraq. I am VERY anti BUSH and I think its so sad, that we have lost so many soldiers. Do any of you know anyone that is stationed there and can you tell me how they are feeling and getting through the holiday season?

I'm looking for some happy or maybe even funny stories. Something to cheer people up and get them into the spirit of Christmas.

My husband and I have decided that Festivus will become a family tradition complete with the Festivus party, airing of grievences, and feats of strengh. I have heard of several things that are tradition for fesitivus such as putting clocks in bags and eating doughnuts. Does anyone know anything more about it or have any good ideas for a festivus party???

The idea is to remove CHRIST altogether. So instead of saying CHRISTmas everyone will eventually call it something else altogether. Why is society working so hard to take Our Savior out of the publie eye ?

....well, it will be until the Patriot missile defence system takes him out!

Or maybe the insurgents we deem him un-islamic, shoot him down, torture him, steal all his presents & behead him!

The reindeer will then be eaten by the locals....

Or they will be given veils that cover their antlers, whilst they are used as everyday transport!

What do you think they'll do with him?

Happy Xmas!

I did....

I took my $5,000 and spent it at stores that don't threaten firing employees for saying Merry Christmas.

I can't wait to see Best Buys sales numbers for this Christmas.
