This will sound wierd but here it goes. I was ten years old and living in an orphanage. Christmas morning I woke up and found three presents with my name on them. I opened the first one, it was a stack of old used comic books. The second was a USED rubicks cube. The third was a used bible. I learned at the young age of ten to be grateful for whatever I recieved, no matter what it was.

I just miss Grandma's cooking!!! We all went over there on Xmas. Things aren't as magical without her around. My Mom used to be very xmasy, now she works alot. So I also miss all the baking and fudge and Xmas music Mom used to do... Things just change. Things are different now maybe because I'm grown and out of the house... Christmas is for kids... I supposed Xmas is always more magical when you are a kid.

I remember when my husband and I had our first Christmas together. He had a box under the tree that he had been teasing me with for a week! It made no noise, was so light, and he would give me no hints. So I opened it, and it was EMPTY! He went into the other room, brought in this HUGE stuffed toy dog, and said "I couldn't wrap him, and didn't want you to have nothing to open" Soooo sweet!
