It's all water under the bridge now. Apologize to anyone you think you might have insulted, and try to go on with your life. Without doing it again, of course.
Been there myself in my wayward youth!

I don't think you should be embarrassed; the company should know iF they are throwing alcohol in the party, they should expect people to have Fun and get drunk. But I do think you should say an apology For things you might have said that you didn't mean.

Try to see what you have done. If you did do something that was stupid
I think you should issue an apologies to all the people in the company. Because you did not leave a good impression to your co worker and may have left some sour taste in their mouths.

Apologize and hope it can mend the working relationships.

Well a little too late for any suggestions, you already embarrassed yourself. Your intentions were to go an get drunk, a Christmas party is not a good place to go get drunk. Hope you didn't drive yourself home.

I am sure you are not the only one.Just claim you don't remember all the bad stuff, you will be fine. And yes you should be embarrassed but it shouldn't be dwelled on either.Don't let it ruin your holidays. As long as you didn't assault anyone people will forgive and forget. Those that wont aren't worth it.Merry Christmas and don't do it again next year.

Three things
apologize
apologize
apologize
You lost control. An office Christmas party is not the place to "let loose", moderation is respected. Wait until you are out with your friends who you know will forgive you until you say things you will regret later.

If you have any close friends at yoru workplace, call them and ask what you said. Apologize to anyone you offended asap, and if you don't have any close friends at work, send an email around apologizing for your behavior. This way, if you did say anything offensive you'll have properly apologized, and if you didn't then people will think you're considerate.

Good luck!

Make apologies to the people you offended. The rule of thumb at a company party is, yes, liquor is available, but don't drink too much. It can harm your job prospects.

YOU should be embarrassed anytime you get way too drunk. now ask a trusted friend who was there with you, and find out what exactly you did. if needed make apologies, before the rumors get out of hand.
