My nephew is a photographer in the Air Force stationed in Germany, thank God, but he's been sent to Iraq twice in the past year on short "missions" (for lack of the technical word). The last time he was home, in September, he told my children of the horrible photos he took in the war zone. Sad thing is when you're a photographer you are constantly alerted to the atrocities of war, I'm afraid it's wounded him emotionally, bless his heart. Sometimes we don't hear from him and wonder if he's been deployed (pardon me if that's the incorrect word) again, he isn't given much of a warning before he's shipped over there. Hope he's in Germany for Christmas.
As far as Bush and his administration are concerned...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. How simply stupid can I put it? Think he could comprehend that message? How he fooled the majority of this country twice is beyond me!
God bless our soldiers and their families. Peace.

I have a cousin and a cousin-in-law over there and my brother is on his way there now. They all volunteered and feel they are serving America and keeping us safe here in America. My brother and cousin are civilians working to make life better for the American military and the cousin-in-law is in the military. I pray for all the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan daily. My nephew is due to be there in March-he already spent 6 months in Afghanistan-and is looking foreward to completing his training so he can get to Iraq.

I feel very sad that they can not be home with their family's for the holiday season, and not knowing if they will ever be with their family's again. I was 19 and stationed in Germany, my one and only xmas away from home. It was sad , but I had friends.

I feel sorry for them. Not so much that they are in Iraq but because they have seen fit to support such a fascist millitary junta like the US.
PS: Will Americans stop refering to the upcoming festivities as "The holiday"! It's bloody CHRISTMAS. Just how brainwashed are you all?

it certainly relies upon on what he likes, i know if I the place interior the marines, i could desire to have a MP3 participant or something, yet i don't know in the event that they could enable it, or if there could be any time to apply it. (i admire listening to music for 20 minutes or so in the previous i pass to sleep). perhaps his prominent candy? (as long because it would not pass undesirable..) i won't be ready to particularly think of of the rest that must be sent and used interior the marines, because of the fact i don't know what this is like. good good fortune to the two certainly one of you! Edits: to the guy above me. #a million, it quite is the worst ingredient to declare. #2, this is incorrect, perhaps that befell to you, yet no longer for many persons, i know 3 marines that had girlfriends decrease back at residing house, and the two certainly one of them have been given married approximately 5 months while they have been given residing house.

I'm totally in agreement
that Bush and his fellow friends
in Washington should be there
instead of our troops.
Let Chaney do his thing with his gun instead
of him having fun on our Texas ranch..
Let them take along Bush Senior , Laura,
The Twin Daughters, and Barbara to that list!

they should be home with their families, not fighting some war that the big heads decided we needed.
