My Sister's Boyfriend's Son, don't want to spend a huge amount. Last year I bought him loads and loads of chocolate, (only just met him that year), but I don't want to do the same 'cop-out' this year!

I see alot of kids on here asking what to get moms for Christmas. I think all mothers would agree it's the thought that counts.I am a mother myself,35 years old.Two beautiful girls 16 & 13. My mom died in 1994 from a battle with breast cancer. I know just having all her children together, being healthy and happy was good enough for her. As I feel the same way. I remember and so did she, once when my brother was around 7(he is now 34 and a father of 4 kids),we got to go shopping with the school. He had bought her a pink razor, you know the bic ones, that had 6 sides, and he just thought it was the most wonderful thing ever(mainly becuase it was pink),,,,,and so did my mother.Live this day as if it was you last. As a Mother or Child this year think about the fondest memories and if they were no tomorrow what would yours be?

My kid brother started us doing it as an alternative family tradition last year. I'm not a Seinfeld fan (except for a few episodes), but I think it's funny amidst all the cheeriness.

"As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way." :-D

Also, if you've ever celebrated it, would Michael Richards' idiocy affect your celebration this year?

Is it just me or does it seem like prices are going up for Christmas session?

At night I try to take picture which tend to involve landscape and lights. IN my auto mode the pics are always over exposed, when I lessen exposure it fixes the light problem but makes other objects to dark. Is there other settings I could use?

Flash is not an option due to distance.

Since I come from a Roman Catholic Italian family, we always have lots of pastas and fish on Christmas eve. On Christmas we have the turkeyyy and ham. I am from New York so preparing for the holiday i like to go to rockafella centre and see the giant Christmas tree and go to the St. Patricks Cathedral Church where I hope some day I get married at.

I am not Jewish, but I have acquaintances who are. Is it appropriate to acknowledge Hanukah by sending them a "Happy Hanukah" card...since I can't send them a Christmas card. Or would it be inappropriate, since again, I'm not Jewish. Thanks in advance.

This christmas is going to be our first christmas together. I want it to be romantic. We've been discussing about possibly going to a nice cottage for a weekend around christmas. And we're looking for some place in the adirondaks in NY. Because they aren't too far. If anyone has any suggestions for a cottage in the winter in Lake George, PLEASE, give me some suggestions. I'd like to start calling around asap. Thank you.

I think it would be sooo cute. Ok my boyfriend sleeps over my house a lot on weekends (always with an adult present) and he sleeps in my little 7 year old brother's bedroom on a futon. He usually brings jameys from home and they are BORING. He's 13. They would look so cute and it would make a perfect picture. Plus I need to get him a Chanukah gift and my little brother too. I don't celebrate Xmas (bet you can guess why). Anyway what do you think.
