My kid brother started us doing it as an alternative family tradition last year. I'm not a Seinfeld fan (except for a few episodes), but I think it's funny amidst all the cheeriness.

I celebrate Yule (Winter Solstice), my brother and cousins celebrate Christmas. It doesn't substitute for serious holidays.
