Tis the season to be jolly. With colder temperatures and longer nights, it is important to remember loved ones of the past, forget grudges, give, celebrate, and love. Yes, as we are taught as children be good boys and girls, that applies to adults too.

I don't think it is entirely should - it's also party that we are just nicer often. We are sending out christmas cards and we include that friend we haven't spoken to in a couple years for a change and that's the spark that reignites the relationship, now that by gones are forgotten - you know what I mean. We often are just of good spirits and things that would have upset us kind of don't as much.
Of course, there are lots of folks who trudge through the holidays and grumble about the crowds and commercialization, etc. They are our modern day Scrouges - the folks who can't appreciate 1 month out of the year when people are genuinely thinking of one another and trying to do nice things.
Peace!

Would be a lovely idea, in an ideal world. If the work place is anything to go by, Christmas doesnt always spread cheer!!
Maybe we should all watch Miracle on 34th Street. Give everyone a feel good boost

If you have a high regard of what Christmas is really about, the Holiday itself shouldn't stand out so much. You should try and be a good person each day of your life (If you are a believer in God) and all that is good. I try to act the way God would have me act each day of the year..not just one day. If you do this, the 25th of December won't be so highlighted but God always will.

I think, one should thinkabout the people, who could merely think to celebrate but are not able to, try to extend a helping hand towards all those whom you feel are also the Gods Children.

You're off to a bad start. Stop taking Christ out of Christmas and
replacing him with an X (UNKNOWN).
"JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON".
