For me its not just the holidays that matter. Its about bundling up on the couch with my sisters and sipping hot cocoa while watching The Grinch. Its about family and friends, and pine trees and that first winter snow. Its days like today, when we run around in the backyard chasing that first winter flurry. Happy Holidays!

I've become Scrooge and the Grinch rolled into one and I wonder if I'm not the only one. Let me clarify, I'm not mean or rude or anything, I'm just tired of Christmas being shoved down my throat every second from Nov 1 on. The commercialism is impossible to ignore as it is constantly advertised on TV, the newspaper, and every storefront. I'm tired of the overspending every year that my wife does which contributes to my kids becoming more and more materialistic. I find it difficult to focus on the "true meaning of Christmas" because I don't know what it is anymore and every one around me appears to be caught up in only the hype. I'm no longer very religious so I don't find comfort in the Christian beginings of the holiday. Any ideas on brightening my mood?

My fiance's birthday is December 25. He will be 24 this year and I want to do something creative and special for him, seeing as his birthday always seems to get overlooked by everyone due to Christmas. I would appreciate any ideas, and suggestions. This can be something that includes family and friends, or just the two of us also.

I was listening to the radio this morning (z100) and they were talking about how some teens were having sex in movie theaters and then they mentioned the popcorn box trick but they did not go into too much detail on what it is.

tickets to a game that I got my man for christmas? I was thinking about putting them in a pocket of a team sweatshirt or getting some team playing cards and put them sticking out. It's going to be his big christmas gift but I want it hidden in a cheaper gift so he really freaks out.

Hi, My brother in law is from England and something he misses is Christmas traditions, there are these little what I call poppers that you can get, that they do over there, like things we have here, it is like a toilet paper roll stuffed with toys and candy, surprises, you pull a string and they pop open.. They give to each other at Christmas, does anyone know what they are called over there and where I might be able to find them so I can give them to him for X- Mas this year, bringing England to him.. Thanks for the help..tried to explain as well as I could.
