Winter in Brazil is from June to August. They celebrate the "Festa Junina". This is a folk-lore street party when people dress in old style country, eat typical food, play and dance to Brazilian country music. Stalls are set up for food, drinks and games, and a bonfire is lit up to roast sweet potatoes and corn. These parties are strongly linked to the religious calendar, when in June they celebrate Saint Anthony, Saint Peter and Saint John.
