I think a great parent gift this year would be a "Then & Now" theme of you and your sibilings or if you're an only child it should be of you and your family. Basically have a picture of yourself (or the family member) when you were a baby or no more than about 10yrs and a picuture of yourself today being the Now picture. With a lottery ticket from each child, if you're an only child give 3 lottery tickets..

I don't know how much this will help, but I am making soap baskets for my family. You have to get a double boiler ($10 @ orientaltrading.com) Check out websites for the right soap mold. I ordered my glycerin colors and frangrances from naturesbouquet.com. I am totally jazzed I can't wait for it to get here. BTW I can't remember, but I think soapcrafters.com is where I got my soap molds from.

Try one of those fleece blankets. All you have to do is attach two pieces of fleece and tie the edges.
Here is the website that shows you how to make it:

Well, it all depends on what they like. For example I would get my mom some candles and lotion and my dad a box of cookies and a truck magazine. lol lol lol you have to think about what they are in to.
